We stayed in room 1528.Because the 7 Cedars Casino has such a large space, it would be difficult to cover the details of every available restaurant and bar. They to 50% off one of the three nights…it was appreciated but it also felt kind of crummy…100% off one night would have made a betterimpression…50% left me not wanting to return. If you know anything about carpenter ants…we’re there is one there are many more. No way I was going to sleep under that can light again. We would have checked out anyway after the ant event. We stayed 3 nights…checked out a day early because we had concluded our business. The worst thing was a huge carpenter ant fell from the can light into my ear as I was just waking up! It was beyond startling…and again gross. We travel with cotton sleeping bags so we were okay. There was no mattress pad on the bed…that is gross.

There were 3 things that were disappointing…smoking allowed on the decks…our deck was covered with ashes from a smoker. The road noise is very loud and they allow smoking. Don’t waste money getting a room with a balcony on the street side. We asked to stay on the backside of the hotel but no rooms were available. The hotel is newer…about a year and a half…we were told. Professional, polite and genuinely cared about taking care of the guests. So we ended up paying over 200+ then 50.00 extra for a balcony view which ended up literally a balcony on the same level as a bunch of rocks on the roof of the floor below us.So all we could see is a rooftop of rocks.

The morning of our room date I got a call saying I didnt have the free room code on my account but we were all set to go tho hugely disappointing. Our next event was our 51st wedding anniversary in august which I had a code for a free room which was accepted a few days before our arrival date. She agreed that was wrong & her supervisor would be following up on this the next morning. Let the front desk receptionist know, I was nice about it but thought the housekeeping dept would want to know. My sister & i stayed a night last March & the room was great as expected but when entering the bathroom noticed there was urine in the toilet.
